Participant Guidelines

The Art-Tech Velocity is a creative two-round event that brings together technology and art. Participants will explore an emerging technology of their choice through both presentation and sketching activities. Each round lasts one hour.

1. Round 1 – Tech Velocity Talks (Pecha-Kucha Presentation): Participants will give short, fast-paced presentations about an emerging technology such as AI, Web3, Quantum Computing, or IoT. The format follows the Pecha-Kucha style—20 slides shown for 20 seconds each, moving automatically. This round tests your ability to explain complex ideas clearly and creatively in a limited time.
2. Round 2 – Art Beat Sketching: After the presentations, participants will take inspiration from their chosen technology to create an art sketch or painting. This is a one-hour live art session that captures the essence and emotion of the technology through visual expression.

The event encourages participants to think, speak, and create, blending technical knowledge with artistic imagination in a fun and fast-paced environment.
