Algo-Design Sprint

Participant Guidelines

The event has three stages where students solve a given problem using algorithms and data structures.

  1. Algorithm Design & Problem Structuring:  Teams design an efficient and scalable algorithm using suitable data structures and logic.
  2. Prototype Design: Teams implement their algorithm as a working prototype or simulation that shows how it can be used in real life.
  3. Final Presentation: Teams present their full work — from problem understanding to final prototype — explaining how DSA concepts were applied.

Participants must prepare two deliverables in one hour to complete their work before presenting.:

  1. A presentation (10 minutes)
  2. A report (in Word format) that includes:

    • The proposed algorithm
    • Algorithm complexity analysis
    • Executable code
